Culture Choc

Culture Choc is a brand based in the U.S, founded by two fitness brothers who sculpted many famous people like Scarlett Johansson and Olivia Cooke. They want to provide more healthier version of pre workout. All regular options contain a lot of caffeine and sugar which are bad for your health on a long term basis. They say that good quality dark chocolate has been proven to release endorphins that make us feel good. A high quality chocolate bar that has ideally at least 70% cacao can be used as a pre workout.

Majority of popular gym products in general are too bulky, serious, too masculine. When it comes to our chocolate branding, we have been inspired by the comic books. We wanted our whole brand to feel fun, playful and approachable. Our target audience are : Chocolate lovers, Gym goers and we also want our branding to have an appeal to women who work out. But moreover, our product is not for hard core body builder.

About the project:

For our logo design, we went with a simple, clean and scalable icon that contains letter C, as an initial letter for Culture Choc, and a cocoa bean. We used cocoa bean because it’s appropriate since our products are chocolate bars. For the color palette, we went with 3 different options for 3 different chocolate options : Muse, Trigger and Anti-Dote. Each of these chocolate bars has a different flavour and different effect to your body and mood. To differentiate 3 products from themselves, we picked different colors, icons, illustrations and comic text. Furthermore, our packaging design will definitely stand out in the market next to the traditional gym supplements duo to our unique and different look.

Our packaging is a comic book, full of fun little details that contains a quality dark chocolate inside.
